Етап: Warm – up activity Мета: активізувати пізнавальний інтерес, залучити до активної співпраці. Прийом: наочність, переклад.	Look at the blackboard. Here we have some words. Put the words in the correct order to build up a sentence and try to guess the theme of our lesson. Pictures on the blackboard will help you: ( Weather, Season, and – Seasons and Weather)
Етап: Warm – up activity Мета: розвивати комунікативність та швидку мовленнєву реакцію. Прийом: переклад	Think about it and explain in a few words how to understand it(use the expressions given on the blackboard).
Етап: ознайомлення з новою лексикою. Мета: ознайомити з новими ЛО, сформувати навички фонемо – правильної вимови. Прийом: семантизація; наочність, переклад; імітація зразків.	Let’s learn some new words according to the today’s lesson. Look at the blackboard or at page 12 in your books. First listen and repeat after me: winter, summer, spring, autumn, warm, rainy, hot, cold, leaf, leaves, snowy. Pay your attention on the forming and pronunciation of the plural form of the word a leaf – leaves. Put the new words into your vocabulary.
Етап: контроль розуміння значення нової лексики. Мета: формувати рецептивні лексичні навички. Прийом: знаходження значення, читання, переклад.	Match the vocabulary words on the left with the adjectives oh the right, read and translate. Winter Rainy, windy, cloudy, gold leaves Summer Cold, frosty, snowy Spring Hot, sunny, nice, summer holidays Autumn Warm, rainy, green leaves
Етап: тренування у розпізнаванні нової лексики в реченнях. Мета: сформувати рецептивні лексичні навички. Прийом: аудіювання і переклад.	Listen and translate into Ukrainian. 1.       December is in winter. 2.       August is in summer. 3.       The sun shines brightly. 4.       The leaves on the trees are green. 5.       I can ski and sledge. 6.       I must take my umbrella to school.
Етап: закріплення нової лексики у мовленні. Мета: навчити вживати нову ЛО у власних реченнях. Формувати репродуктивні лексичні навички. Прийом: вправляння.	Вправа 1.Compose word combinations of your own with new words. Вправа 2. Choose 5 words from the list. Make up your own sentences and write them down. Вправа 3. Let your neighbor translate your sentences into Ukrainian. Вправа 4. Compose short dialogues with the new words. Вправа 5. Compose a short story on the topic with the help of the new words.
